Job summary

Sii Poland in Poznań seeks engineers to build production AI systems beyond notebooks, turning architectures into reliable, observable services. You will write Python, wire cloud infrastructure, and tackle data quality, latency, evaluation, and deployment challenges.

You’ll work across generative and classical AI, integrating LLMs, training and deploying ML models, and running it all in production on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in software or ML engineering with production AI/ML experience.
• Strong Python skills for production-grade services.
• Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or equivalents.
• Experience with one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings and retrieval systems.
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts: versioning, experiments, CI/CD, monitoring.
• Fluent English and fluent Polish; residing in Poland.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with architects and data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy knowledge-grounded AI systems end-to-end: data ingestion, chunking, embedding pipelines, retrieval, re-ranking, response generation
• Develop agentic applications — tool integrations, planning loops, memory management, guardrails
• Implement and maintain ML pipelines for production use cases: prediction, classification, recommendation, optimization
• Deploy and optimize model serving infrastructure: APIs, batching, caching, GPU usage, cross-cloud cost control
• Write clean, tested, production-grade Python; avoid prototype code
• Build evaluation and monitoring pipelines with drift detection and latency tracking
• Collaborate with AI Architects and data engineers on technical design and data availability
• Work with cloud-native AI services on Azure, AWS or GCP to implement scalable solutions
