Job summary

Moss is hiring an Applied AI Engineer to build AI agents and intelligent product capabilities that transform how finance teams work. This is a product engineering role with end-to-end ownership from architecture through deployment and operation in production.

You will design prompts, orchestrate tools, and securely access data, collaborating with data scientists to integrate models and production tooling. Expect cross-functional teamwork across engineering, product, and data science.

Qualifications

• Seasoned software engineer with production-grade experience.
• Strong Python and/or Java; backend APIs and services.
• Shipped an agent or LLM-powered capability end-to-end.
• Integrated agents into a larger product and backend.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship AI agents that automate finance workflows.
• Evaluate agent quality, latency, cost, and user impact.
• Develop AI application architecture with context-engineering.
• Integrate ML models and production tooling into the product.
