Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, Applied AI in Cortex AI to build enterprise-grade AI solutions and robust ML pipelines. You’ll partner with customer teams, design scalable architectures, and productionize AI systems for real-world business challenges at scale.

You will work at the intersection of product, engineering and customer success, translating objectives into robust technical implementations using Python, SQL, and modern AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based or ML applications.
• Proven experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and performance tuning.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, C++ or other backend languages.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Adaptability to fast-paced Generative AI environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions, including sophisticated AI agents.
• Design, iterate, and ship high-quality code and ML pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Own full lifecycle of AI solution implementation from prototype to production in scalable environments.
• Partner with customer data science and engineering teams as a technical advisor.
• Ensure data validation, observability, and reliable AI performance across systems.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback and influence Snowflake AI platform.
