Job summary

Hitachi Energy Kraków is seeking a skilled security researcher to join the Cybersecurity Assurance Center. You will perform penetration tests across hardware, software, cloud and mobile products, identifying vulnerabilities and helping implement secure-by-design practices.

You will work closely with engineers, develop cryptography-related tooling, and leverage Metasploit and other reverse‑engineering tools, in a multinational, collaborative environment. Proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Penetration tests across hardware, software, cloud and mobile.
• Gather and document research on industry technologies.
• Prepare reports and internal documentation of findings.
• Participate in technical meetings and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing across Hitachi Energy products.
• Identify vulnerabilities and assist in secure-by-design implementation.
• Develop and refine security tools for cryptography and reverse engineering.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Produce technical reports with clear remediation recommendations.
