Job summary

Jit is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead a live trading platform within an international financial services setting. You will own the backlog, translate requirements, and guide development and QA teams to stabilize and advance the product. The role demands strong brokerage/trading experience, agile know-how, and excellent stakeholder management.

English fluency is essential. The position offers hybrid work in Poland (Gdańsk/Warsaw) and opportunities to collaborate across trading

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner working directly with development teams.
• Strong brokerage and trading experience – key requirement.
• Experience prioritizing a complex product backlog and gathering requirements.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable tasks and user stories.
• Experience creating clear acceptance criteria and effective documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and software development lifecycle.
• Independent, proactive approach with strong ownership and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog for a live trading platform.
• Identify and prioritize bugs, gaps, and new product requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to define priorities.
• Translate needs into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Provide clear direction to development and QA teams.
• Lead backlog refinement and support sprint planning and delivery.
• Make product decisions and resolve blockers.
• Support product stabilization and future development priorities.
• Maintain product documentation and communicate progress and risks.
