Jacobs is building its Digital & Data Hub in Kraków and seeks a Product Owner for Data & AI products. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and manage backlogs, working with data scientists and engineers on platforms like Palantir Foundry and Microsoft Azure.

You’ll support dashboards with Power BI and help shape data-driven solutions for multiple industries. Based in Kraków, you’ll join a hybrid team, attend occasional online meetings late afternoon, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Experience in product ownership, business analysis, or a related role.
• Experience working with data or contributing to data-related projects.
• Experience with Power BI or other dashboard and reporting solutions.
• Experience gathering requirements through stakeholder meetings, interviews, or workshops.
• Experience working directly with stakeholders, including presenting to senior audiences.
• Understanding of Agile practices, such as Scrum or Kanban, and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Availability for occasional online meetings in the late afternoon, typically between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
• Based in Kraków or the Kraków area, with the ability to work from the Kraków office at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of Data & AI products, from discovery and requirements gathering through development, testing, and deployment.
• Define, maintain, and prioritize product backlogs, roadmaps, and scopes for data and AI features.
• Gather and document business needs through stakeholder meetings, interviews, and workshops.
• Translate business requirements into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Use the MoSCoW method to prioritize requirements and support the creation of mock-ups or prototypes.
• Work with data scientists, engineers, and other specialists to shape solutions using platforms such as Palantir Foundry and Microsoft Azure.
• Support the development of dashboards and reporting solutions, including Power BI.
• Monitor product performance, AI model metrics, and user feedback to identify improvements.
• Research data and AI trends and opportunities relevant to the construction and engineering sectors.
• Prepare business cases for Data & AI initiatives, assessing costs, effort, and potential value.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to support effective delivery.
• Engage with internal customers and stakeholders throughout product discovery and implementation.

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our Digital & Data Hub and support Jacobs’ internal Data & AI projects. You will help shape and deliver data-driven and AI-powered solutions, working with business stakeholders and technical teams to turn user needs into clear requirements and valuable products.
