Job summary

Phoenix Contact in Poland seeks a results-driven Process Engineer to join R&D project teams from concept development to serial production launch. You will verify designs for manufacturability and participate in cost calculations to support decision-making.

You will collaborate with Development, Injection Molding and Production teams across all project phases, implement engineering changes during development and industrialization, and contribute to new product development and change management

Qualifications

• University degree in a technical field (Production/Process/Mechanical Engineering or similar).
• Experience as Process Engineer, Production Engineer, Technologist, or Design Engineer.
• Knowledge of at least one manufacturing technology (injection molding, stamping or assembly).

Your responsibilities

• Participate in R&D project teams from concept development to serial production launch
• Verify and validate technical assumptions, designs, and manufacturability concepts
• Perform investment and production cost calculations
• Cooperate with Development, Injection Molding and Production teams across all project phases
• Implement engineering and design changes during product development and industrialization
• Support new product development and product change management activities

Our requirements

• University degree in a technical field (e.g. Production Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar)
• Professional experience as a Process Engineer, Production Engineer, Technologist, or Design Engineer
• Practical knowledge of at least one manufacturing technology, such as injection molding, stamping, or assembly processes
• Nice to have: experience with additional technologies (e.g. soldering, pad printing, welding)
• Ability to prepare production cost calculations and technical & quality specifications
• Experience in change and industrialization projects
• Very good command of English (minimum B1); German language is an advantage
• Goal-oriented approach
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
