Job summary

GE Vernova in Warsaw is seeking a Product Definition Engineer to contribute to the design and development of Gas Turbine parts, including 3D models and MBDs, and to improve existing products.

You will execute PDE support for projects, create/update definitions per standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables while meeting timelines, collaborating with global engineers.

Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes.
• Experience with commercial CAD packages (NX, CATIA).
• GD&T, ASME Y14.5 & ISO understanding.
• Ability to work with domestic and worldwide engineers.

Responsibilities

• Execute PDE support or evaluation of projects using engineering principles.
• Create/ update 3D models, MBD, and 2D drawings per Gas Power standards.
• Create or update Bill of Material structures.
• Develop processes ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Present in technical reviews and communicate results.

Job Description Summary

Product Definition Engineer contributes to the work group in order to meet assigned objectives. As a PDE Engineer you will work on:

• Design & development of Gas Turbine parts - including 2D drawings and MBDs


• Technical improvement of existing products and components

In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

Job Description Responsibilities: Execute PDE support or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirements. Execute new definition for parts and assemblies (3D models, MBD, 2D drawings), 2D cross sections using NX & Catia functionality. Create new or update existing definition per Gas Power standards. Create or update Bill of Material structures. Implement and develop processes and procedures that assure the highest quality of provided deliverables and be consistent with engineering policies and standards. Participate as a presenter in technical reviews. Document and communicate results of technical data generated. Complete assigned tasks on time and on budget.

Qualifications
