Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Product Definition Engineer in Warsaw to contribute to the design and development of gas turbine parts, producing 2D drawings and MBDs, and improving existing components.

The role emphasizes delivering defined objectives and coordinating with global teams to meet project goals. The PDE Engineer will perform 3D modeling and documentation using NX and Catia, create or update BOM structures, and ensure quality through engineering standards.

Qualifications

• BSc in Engineering.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes.
• Experience with commercial CAD package.
• GD&T & ASME Y14.5 & ISO understanding.
• Ability to work effectively with domestic (EIC) and worldwide engineers.

Responsibilities

• Execute PDE support or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and program requirements.
• Execute new definition for parts and assemblies (3D models, MBD, 2D drawings), 2D cross sections using NX & Catia functionality.
• Create new or update existing definition per Gas Power standards.
• Create or update Bill of Material structures.
• Implement and develop processes and procedures that assure the highest quality of provided deliverables and be consistent with engineering policies and standards.
• Participate as a presenter in technical reviews.
• Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
• Complete assigned tasks on time and on budget.

Product Definition Engineer contributes to the work group in order to meet assigned objectives. As a PDE Engineer you will work on:
