Job summary

ROCKWOOL Group in Poznań is seeking a Procurement Trainee to join the MRO team within Group Sourcing & Procurement (GSP). You will support end-to-end procurement, convert operational needs into timely purchases, and assist with supplier engagement to enable cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ideally two years of Bachelor studies in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Logistics.
• Basic procurement or supply-chain experience (internship or coursework) is an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort with data.
• Good analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator in English (intermediate/business level).

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end MRO procurement processes: RFQs, requisitions, and PO follow-up.
• Contact suppliers to request quotes and maintain supplier communication logs.
• Assist Category Managers with price comparisons and spend analysis.
• Verify incoming parts data and address specification gaps.
• Maintain procurement records in SAP/ERP and support data hygiene tasks.
• Support ad-hoc procurement projects and supplier/factory site visits when applicable.
