Job summary

Moventas Wind Ltd in Kraków is seeking a Procurement Team Leader to own and elevate the procurement ecosystem, optimize SAP Ariba, and drive data‑driven decisions across the organization. You will ensure system stability, performance, and adoption while aligning improvements with business priorities.

Leading a small but capable team, you will coordinate maintenance, mentor staff, and collaborate with global stakeholders to simplify processes, improve user experience, and deliver tangible

Qualifications

  • Experience in finance, economics, procurement, IT, or a similar field, at least 4–5 years.
  • Team management and strong leadership capability.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba in an admin or consulting role.
  • Good knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay processes, including PO/GR handling, and MM process understanding.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in project delivery and communicating changes to stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to defend a solution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with high attention to detail.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including potential second shift once a week.

Responsibilities

  • Own SAP Ariba, ensuring stability, accuracy, and reliability across procurement activities.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform health checks.
  • Lead system change and adoption, onboarding new entities and ensuring adoption.
  • Drive innovation by testing and deploying new functionalities.
  • Collaborate globally with tool administration, procurement, and cross-functional teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools.
  • Coordinate system maintenance and updates to keep the ecosystem current.
  • Manage team performance and workload distribution.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships and deliver requested outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to team members and support when needed.
  • Oversee maintenance of process documentation and KPIs.
  • Contribute to global process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

As a Procurement Team Leader, your core purpose will be to own and elevate the procurement ecosystem, ensuring it runs seamlessly while continuously evolving to meet business needs. You will play a key role in optimizing SAP Ariba, strengthening Purchase-to-Pay processes, and enabling efficient, data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. In this role, your goal is not only to maintain operational excellence, but to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and lead innovation that simplifies processes and enhances user experience. At the same time, you will build and empower a high‑performing team, aligning their efforts with business priorities and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you will be doing
  • Own Procurement Systems: Take full ownership of SAP ARIBA, ensuring stability, accuracy, and reliability across all procurement activities.
  • Act as System Guardian: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, propose and execute health checks, and proactively address potential disruptions before they impact the business.
  • Lead System Change & Adoption: Support tool implementation and optimization projects from both functional and data perspectives, ensuring smooth onboarding of new entities and effective tool adoption.
  • Drive Innovation: Propose, test, and deploy new functionalities that enhance user experience and elevate process excellence.
  • Collaborate Globally: Work closely with the tool administration team, operational procurement, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment, consistency, and system adoption.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and tools, making them more intuitive and efficient.
  • Stay Future‑Ready: Coordinate system maintenance and updates, ensuring the ecosystem remains current, stable, and optimized.
  • Manage team performance and workload distribution.
  • Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders, resolve issues and deliver requested outcomes.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and track them through to final resolution.
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members and support/backup when needed.
  • Identify mentoring needs and support team development.
  • Oversee maintenance of process documentation.
  • Manage KPIs, understand their levels, drivers, and business impact.
  • Contribute to global process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all employee obligations resulting from internal AS and AS GBS regulations and policies.
  • Translate objectives into actionable targets, adapt plans when priorities change.
What you need to succeed
  • Experience in finance, economics, procurement, IT, or a similar field, at least 4–5 years
  • Team management and strong leadership
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP Ariba in an admin or consulting role
  • Good knowledge of Purchase‑to‑Pay processes, including PO/GR handling, and a strong understanding of the MM process
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes and strong problem‑solving skills
  • Previous experience in project delivery, proposing process improvements, and communicating changes to stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to defend a thesis or advocate for a solution
  • Practical knowledge of MS Office especially MS Excel and Power Point
  • Positive “can‑do” attitude and flexibility
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong task and time management skills including planning and organizational skills
  • Flexibility with working hours, including the possibility of covering a second shift once a week.
