Job summary

Stadler Converter sp. z o.o. in Poland is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage supplier relations, place orders for components and services, and optimize purchasing processes within our growing converter factory.

You will prepare PO's in the ERP system, negotiate terms, coordinate with internal teams (production, engineering) and contribute to cost reductions, quality, and on-time delivery as part of Stadler Group.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role.
• Very good command of English, enabling effective business communication.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-developed negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Placing orders with suppliers for components and production‑related services.
• Preparing and processing purchase orders and managing suppliers in the ERP system.
• Maintaining regular communication with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, price negotiations, and commercial terms.
• Preparing and issuing requests for quotations (RFQs).
• Identifying and sourcing alternative suppliers and materials.
• Managing and developing long‑term supplier relationships.
• Coordinating communication with internal departments.
• Performing data analysis and preparing reports.
• Collaborating with internal departments (e.g. production, engineering) to identify material requirements.

Stadler Converter sp. z o.o. is a Polish company belonging to the Stadler Group, a leading global provider of integrated rail-vehicle solutions tailored to customer needs. In Poland, Stadler operates several specialized facilities focused on the production of both individual components and complete rail vehicles, as well as their maintenance and servicing.
Stadler has recently decided to expand its power converter factory. The facility will supply converters to Stadler's production sites worldwide, as well as to external customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
