System Implementation and Supplier Leadership
Build and Scale a National Inventory Function.
Build the system. Don’t just manage it.
RESINC Solar is growing rapidly across NSW, QLD, VIC, and ACT — and we need a Procurement Officer who can take ownership of our end-to-end procurement and inventory capability.
This is not a purchase order processing role.
This is about designing and embedding a robust, scalable inventory management system that supports national growth.
You will lead procurement, optimize supplier performance, and work closely with IT and operations to implement and refine inventory workflows inside Service Mate and integrated systems.
What You’ll Own
- Lead sourcing of panels, inverters, batteries, racking, electrical components and consumables
- Negotiate pricing, rebates, credits and improved supplier terms
- Build structured preferred supplier frameworks
- Own supplier performance across cost, lead times, service levels and warranty support
Inventory Systems Implementation
- Design and implement scalable inventory workflows in Service Mate
- Partner closely with IT to configure systems properly and avoid short‑term fixes
- Build item master data, SKU logic, reorder points and min/max controls
- Implement structured stock transfer, receipting and adjustment processes
- Develop SOPs and train warehouse teams to ensure adoption
Forecasting and Logistics
- Forecast demand by region and warehouse
- Prevent stock run‑outs before they impact installations
- Improve inbound and outbound logistics and reconciliation processes
Governance and Controls
- Improve purchase order accuracy and stock entry standards
- Reduce invoice discrepancies and improve reconciliation timeframes
- Build performance dashboards tracking stock accuracy, ageing inventory and supplier performance
What Success Looks Like
- Inventory accuracy improves measurably within the first 30–60 days
- Clear reorder logic is implemented across all warehouses
- Stock supports installation schedules with minimal disruption
- Supplier relationships are commercially optimised
- Procurement becomes structured, scalable and audit‑ready
About You
- Has implemented inventory management systems, not just operated within them
- Is highly IT‑savvy and understands operational system configuration
- Has strong procurement and supplier negotiation experience
- Can build structured processes and documentation from the ground up
- Is commercially minded and detail‑driven
- Can work independently while collaborating across operations and IT
Solar industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
Inventory system implementation experience is essential.
What’s In It For You
- $95,000–$120,000 + Super (based on experience)
- Remote role with flexibility and autonomy
- Genuine ownership of a national function
- Opportunity to implement systems properly — not patch issues
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and decision‑making
- Clear scope to improve processes and drive measurable impact
- Work in a high‑growth renewable energy business
This is a role where your contribution will be visible, valued and operationally critical.
