Thales is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Centre of Excellence in Poland, driving manufacturing of banking cards and secure documents. You will implement new processes, supervise machine start-up, coordinate projects from concept to implementation, and define production documentation.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree, hands-on experience in high-volume manufacturing, knowledge of automation, electronics, and lean tools, plus strong English and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Engineering.
• Experience as a process engineer or technologist/maintenance engineer in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering/automation/electronics/machine building/mechanical engineering/maintenance/pneumatics.
• Experience commissioning new machines.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing is an advantage.
• Proactive, goal-oriented, able to work independently and coordinate tasks.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Familiar with PDCA, FMEA, SPC, MSA and quality tools.
• Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to negotiate and influence.
• Willing to grow and share knowledge; value teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Implement and start-up new manufacturing processes and products.
• Supervise commissioning of new production machines and ramp-up.
• Coordinate engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Define production documentation and work standardization.
• Support production and maintenance in solving technical problems.
• Optimize existing production lines for efficiency and safety.
• Control production processes and implement error-proofing.
• Modify and improve processes and manufactured products.
• Aim for highest quality, efficiency and cost minimization.
• Identify problems and implement preventive solutions.
• Prepare reports and analyses of manufacturing processes.
