Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Security Software Architect to own security requirements for the Database as a Service platform and private cloud storage. You will coordinate with CSO SMEs to translate requirements into security designs and operating models, ensuring encryption and privileged access management across on-premise platforms.

Qualifications

• Security skills across domains required.
• Specialist data encryption experience for at-rest protection.
• Expertise in Identity and Authentication.
• Familiarity with managed Kubernetes and SDDC environments.
• Networking knowledge for cloud and on-prem setups.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+/C1).

Responsibilities

• Represent CSO capability SMEs and capture requirements for private cloud security.
• Develop security designs and operating models with delivery plans.
• Provide guidance on design and operating model delivery in Q2.
• Support CSO Enterprise Security Architecture with high-level reference security architecture.
• Include on-premise service accounts and privileged access management in designs.
• Assist MaaS platform team as needed by CSO prioritization.
• Deliver data encryption to support encryption at rest goals.
