Job summary

Autodesk Consulting seeks a Principal Solution Architect to lead the evolution of its IP platform as an enterprise-ready SaaS product powered by knowledge architecture, AI-enabled capabilities, and future agentic applications. You will design the knowledge architecture that connects workflows, data, decisions and insights across the AEC, MFG, and M&E domains.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing complex software platforms.
• Experience as a Software Architect or Principal Engineer.
• Experience with AI-enabled, knowledge-driven, or workflow-centric systems.
• Familiarity with SOC2, security and privacy in enterprise environments.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architectural vision for Workflow Advisory and related knowledge-driven platform capabilities
• Design semantic architectures, knowledge models, and knowledge graph capabilities that connect workflows, data, decisions, and insights
• Define architecture patterns that enable workflow automation, intelligent decision support, and future agentic applications
• Establish standards for knowledge representation, lifecycle management, governance, and reuse across platforms
• Translate business workflows into reusable domain models, services, and architectural patterns
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native architectures that support enterprise and customer-facing solutions
• Ensure platform services, APIs, and knowledge assets are discoverable, composable, and consumable by AI-enabled applications
• Apply AI and LLM technologies to improve knowledge discovery, workflow execution, and advisory experiences
• Collaborate with architects and engineering responsible for ensuring architecture meets enterprise security, privacy, compliance, and SOC2 requirements
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and consulting teams to align architecture investments with business outcomes and technology strategy
• Drive adoption of architectural standards and reusable platform capabilities across teams
• Mentor engineers and architects while communicating architectural direction to senior leadership and stakeholders
