Grid Dynamics in Poland seeks a Principal Full-Stack Developer (Java/Angular) to lead complex software projects, shape technical strategy, and drive architecture decisions. As a Staff-level engineer, you will guide frontend initiatives and provide strong technical mentorship across teams.

You will work to deliver scalable, high-performance applications using Angular and Java, including AI-enabled features, while collaborating with business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with deep expertise in Java and Angular (v12+)
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and integrations (Claude, AI Agents, GitHub Copilot)
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and backend architectural patterns
• Understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and NoSQL databases
• Proven ability to lead teams and projects from architecture to deployment
• Familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth2, and web security best practices
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for full-stack initiatives; guide implementation and enforce best practices across backend (Java) and frontend (Angular)
• Design, architect, and implement real-world AI solutions (Claude, AI Agents, Copilot) for key business cases

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Full-Stack Developer (Java/Angular) to take a pivotal role in leading software development projects, defining technical strategies, and contributing to the system’s overall architecture. As a Staff-level engineer, you will lead complex frontend initiatives, provide strong technical guidance to your team, and help shape scalable, high-performance applications using Angular and Java and related technologies.

This role combines technical excellence, leadership, and mentorship, with strong ownership across project architecture and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for full-stack engineering initiatives; guide implementation and enforce best practices across both backend (Java) and frontend (Angular).
• Quickly design, architect, and implement real-world AI solutions (leveraging Claude, AI agents, Copilot) for various critical business cases.
• Lead feature development, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
• Conduct code reviews, perform performance analysis, and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Participate in and influence system architecture decisions, ensuring consistency and long-term maintainability
• Mentor mid- and senior-level developers; support team growth and capability development
• Lead communication with stakeholders including business and technical representatives up to director level
• Support internal tech talks, meetups, and knowledge sharing, including preparation and delivery of presentations
• Contribute to upsell strategies by understanding client needs and aligning technical direction with business goals
• Conduct technical interviews up to senior levels (T4), adjusting evaluation approaches as needed

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience, with deep expertise in building complex applications using Java and Angular (v12+).
• Solid, hands-on experience with modern AI tools and integrations (Claude, AI Agents, GitHub Copilot).
• Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and backend architectural patterns.
• Understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and NoSQL databases.
• Proven ability to lead teams and projects from architecture to deployment.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth2, and web security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of other modern frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) or Node.js.
• Experience in public speaking or leading internal/external tech talks.
• Familiarity with browser profilers and performance debugging tools.
