Grid Dynamics is seeking a Principal Full-Stack Developer (Java/Angular) to lead software projects, define technical strategy, and contribute to system architecture. As a Staff-level engineer, you will guide frontend and backend efforts, mentor teams, and drive high-performance applications using Angular and Java.

The role emphasizes leadership, ownership of architecture decisions, and collaboration with stakeholders to align technical direction with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience in Java/Angular
• Hands-on with modern AI tools and integrations (Claude, AI Agents, Copilot)
• Strong backend and frontend architectural understanding
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and NoSQL awareness
• Proven leadership of teams and project delivery
• Experience with REST APIs, OAuth2, and security best practices
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for full-stack initiatives; guide backend (Java) and frontend (Angular) implementation
• Design and implement AI solutions for critical business cases
• Lead feature development with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery
• Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards
• Influence system architecture for maintainability and scalability
• Mentor mid- and senior-level developers and support growth
• Engage stakeholders up to director level and drive tech talks and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to upsell strategies by aligning technical direction with business goals
• Conduct technical interviews up to senior levels (T4) as needed
