Job summary

Pegasystems Poland in Kraków is seeking an experienced software engineer focused on security tooling to support orchestration for thousands of cloud environments. You will work with Go, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker within a DevOps/MVP framework.

The role requires 6+ years in software design, proficiency in Go/Java/Python, strong security practices, and excellent English. We offer a hybrid work mode with a modern Krakow office and opportunities for learning and growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software design and development experience.
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, Python, or similar.
• Solid understanding of AWS Cloud or similar cloud platforms.
• Deep knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
• Experience with DevOps automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker or similar container tools.
• Excellent English communication.

What You'll Do At Pega

• Developing security-related tooling supporting orchestration for thousands of Cloud environments,
• Working daily with Go, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker,
• Work within DevOps and MVP frameworks.

Who You Are You are an effective communicator and collaborator. Also, you demonstrate initiative and autonomy at work.
What You’ve Accomplished

• 6+ years of experience in software design and development,
• Proficiency in Golang, Java, Python, or similar,
• Solid understanding of AWS Cloud or similar cloud platforms,
• Deep knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles,
• Experience with DevOps automation, including CI/CD pipelines and related tooling,
• Familiarity with Docker or similar,
• Very good command of English.

Additional Information Base salary range for this role is 236,500 - 360,300 PLN annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.
The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
