Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Medior Pega Developer to design, build, and deploy Pega-based solutions for banking and insurance domains. The role focuses on scalable, enterprise-class architecture and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Work mode is Hybrid (office once per week) with locations in Warsaw or Krakow; hours are 9:00 to 17:00 CET. Employment contract.

Overview of the Role:

As a Medior Pega Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust Pega-based solutions that underpin HCLTech’s mission to deliver transformative technology services. Your expertise will contribute directly to client projects within banking and insurance sectors, ensuring scalable, innovative, and efficient applications that drive business value. Detailed Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop Pega-based applications, leveraging enterprise-class design principles and the latest Pega architecture.
• Implement case management, flow design, data modeling, and rule resolution to ensure optimal application performance and maintainability.
• Configure and analyze data pages, perform log analysis, and optimize background processing using job schedulers and queue processors.
• Lead integration initiatives, ensuring seamless connectivity between Pega applications and external systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Participate in CICD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) processes to streamline development and deployment cycles.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot issues across server, database, and node classifications.
• Engage in client-facing activities, especially within banking and insurance domains, to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Skill Requirements:

• PEGA CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect) certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 4 years’ hands‑on experience with Pega platform.
• Deep understanding of latest Pega architecture, including Enterprise‑class design, Application layer cake, Data Modelling, and Rule resolution.
• Extensive experience with case management, flow design, data pages, and log analysis.
• Strong background in background processing (job schedulers, queue processors).
• Proven expertise in system integration and interfacing with external applications.
• Practical experience with CICD pipelines and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Nice to have:

• Experience working on banking or insurance projects is highly preferred.
• In‑depth understanding of server, database, and node classification would be advantageous.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
