Job summary

VML, a leading creative company within WPP, seeks a Principal Technical Architect to lead cloud and AI platforms for client engagements. You’ll own enterprise AWS architectures, mentor teams, and shape governance and delivery with a hands-on, quality-first approach.

In this role, you’ll drive agentic AI initiatives, implement serverless patterns, and partner with clients and commercial teams to unlock growth opportunities across global brands.

Qualifications

• Senior/Principal architect with experience in digital agencies or consultancies.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior authority on complex cloud architectures (AWS serverless).
• Design AWS-based agentic AI platforms and reusable patterns.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and facilitate workshops.
• Provide hands-on technical ownership: review code and design robust API/integration patterns.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the account and practice.
