Job summary

Sabre is seeking a Principal Application Security Software Engineer in Kraków to bridge software engineering and cybersecurity. You will shape secure architectures, build and enhance security tooling with Java, and drive AI-driven vulnerability triage and automated fixes.

You will influence Sabre's AppSec strategy, integrate tools into CI/CD pipelines, and mentor teams to improve secure coding practices and incident response across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in software engineering and application security.
• Strong Java development and secure architecture design experience.
• Deep experience with secure SDLC, CI/CD, and automation.
• Familiarity with AI agents and LLM-based tooling for security.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure software, tooling, and automation with emphasis on Java.
• Introduce AI-LMM powered security tools to triage and fix issues.
• Adapt AppSec strategy to AI/LLM threats and cloud deployments.
• Integrate security tooling into cloud-based CI/CD pipelines and reporting.
