Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade reporting and analytics solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI and Snowflake.

The role emphasizes data modeling, DAX, and advanced query optimization, with a focus on performance and data quality across structured and semi-structured data sources.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience.
• Snowflake architecture and core concepts.
• Loading and ingesting data from different sources.
• Data transformation and preparation within Snowflake.
• Understanding ETL/ELT processes.
• Working with structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Parquet, etc.).
• Performance optimization basics (clustering, partitioning, query performance).
• Writing complex queries with joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations and case statements.
• Query optimization and troubleshooting.
• Data quality validation and reconciliation.
• Ability to transform, clean and prepare data for reporting.

Responsibilities

This role requires a professional who can design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade reporting, analytics, and process automation solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Building end-to-end Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Creating data models and managing relationships between multiple data sources.
• Understanding star schema and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Developing DAX measures, calculated columns and KPIs.
• Performing data transformation and cleansing using Power Query (M Language).

SKILLS

Must have
