Job summary

Your ITeams Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw is seeking a Power BI Developer to build end-to-end BI solutions, create reports and data models, and tune performance from the Warsaw office.

The role requires hands-on experience with DAX, M/Power Query, and SQL Server development, plus REST API integrations and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Power BI Developer role with reports, data models, and paginated reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including paginated reports and custom visuals.
• Develop and optimise data models, implement RLS and OLS as required.
• Perform performance tuning for Power BI solutions via source optimisation and efficient T-SQL.
• Develop SQL Server applications and write robust T-SQL for ETL and reporting scenarios.
• Integrate Power BI solutions with external systems using Web Services, REST APIs and HTTP APIs.
• Apply DAX and Power Query (M) to transform and analyse large datasets for advanced analytics.
• Collect and document requirements, draft specifications and propose final solution approaches with stakeholders.

Job description

Power BI Developer based in Warsaw. The person in this role will be responsible for developing and supporting end-to-end Power BI solutions, including custom reports, data models, paginated reports and performance tuning. Work is performed from the Warsaw office (Wola).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including paginated reports and custom visuals.
• Develop and optimise data models, implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) as required.
• Perform performance tuning for Power BI solutions through source optimisation, efficient T-SQL, database views and maximising query folding.
• Develop Microsoft SQL Server applications and write robust T-SQL code for ETL and reporting scenarios.
• Integrate Power BI solutions with external systems using Web Services, REST APIs and HTTP APIs.
• Apply DAX and Power Query (M language) to transform, optimise and analyse large datasets for advanced analytics scenarios.
• Collect and document requirements, produce draft specifications and propose final solution approaches in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams, manage conflict constructively and present technical solutions to business audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Power BI Developer role, including custom solutions development, dashboards, data models and paginated reports.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in IT.
• Proven experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and strong T-SQL skills.
• Experience working with Web Services, REST API and HTTP API integrations.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query for data transformation and optimisation.
• Demonstrated ability in Power BI performance tuning by optimising MS SQL sources, creating efficient database views and maximising query folding.
• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).
• Experience eliciting requirements and drafting solution specifications.
• Strong teamwork, conflict-management skills and the ability to communicate results to business stakeholders and diverse audiences.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or equivalent.
• Ability for work from Warsaw office.
