Job summary

Insightland is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, build and deploy reporting architecture for external clients. You will lead client meetings, map needs, and advise on KPI selection to deliver actionable dashboards.

You will coordinate analytics implementation, ensure data accuracy, and maintain dashboards across Power BI Desktop and Service with data from Databricks and SQL sources.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and deploying Power BI dashboards from scratch.
• Experience working directly with business clients and facilitating status meetings.
• Excellent PM planning and organization skills with ability to manage phases and deliverables.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into structured data models and reports.
• Fluency in Polish and English is required.

What you will be doing:

• Designing, building, and deploying reporting architecture in Power BI from scratch for an external client
• Leading business meetings with the client, mapping their needs, and advising them on the selection of key metrics (KPIs)
• Coordinating analytical implementation (managing schedules, gathering requirements, reporting status updates)
• Processing data from various sources and ensuring its accuracy and consistency within the reports
• Building clean management dashboards from scratch that truly provide clarity and support business decisions
• Designing and building clear, useful, and well-structured reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Translating business needs into reporting solutions that realistically support decision-makingWorking with data from multiple sources, including Databricks as the primary data source for Power BI
• Building and maintaining data models, measures, and the entire reporting logic in Power BI
• Creating readable, intuitive, and visually consistent reports
• Optimizing reports, datasets, and refresh processes within the Power BI environment
• Publishing and maintaining ready reports in Power BI Service
• Collaborating closely with business users, analysts, and data teams to define KPIs, metrics, and report structures
• Taking full ownership of report quality, data accuracy, and their long-term ease of maintenance

You will fit in perfectly if you have:

• Strong practical experience with Power BI report and dashboard development (with successfully deployed dashboards under your belt)
• Experience in working directly with business clients and you feel comfortable with frequent status updates and meetings
• Well-developed organizational and PM skills - you can independently organize project phases and ensure timely task delivery
• An analytical mindset, the ability to “connect the dots,” and the capacity to translate informational chaos into structured data frameworks
• Fluent and transparent communication skills in both Polish and English
• Nice to have: Microsoft certifications related to Power BI (e.g., PL-300), experience in the e-commerce industry, solid knowledge of SQL or DAX
• Very good understanding of Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Solid knowledge of data modeling, DAX, and Power Query
• Experience combining data from multiple sources and preparing it for reporting
• The ability to design reports that are clear, useful, and easy to understand for business users
• A good understanding of SQL and data validation
• Experience with Databricks as a source for Power BI (this will be a strong advantage)
• An analytical mindset, great attention to detail, and the ability to push back on vague requirements
• True ownership, independence, and the confidence to make smart, practical reporting choices
