Job summary

FRISTA is seeking a Power BI Developer – Finance & Controlling in Poland (hybrid). You will develop advanced Power BI solutions for finance and controlling, work with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, and translate financial processes into clear dashboards and KPI reporting.

The role requires senior hands-on Power BI proficiency, strong DAX, data modelling skills, experience with SAP data (FI/CO, BW or S/4HANA is a plus), and excellent English for stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end Power BI reports and dashboards for finance and controlling.
• Create advanced DAX measures and reporting logic.
• Build and maintain data models and semantic layers.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Design KPIs and management reporting solutions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, P&L, costs, revenue, cash flow analyses.
• Collaborate with backend and data engineering teams.

We are looking for an experienced Power BI specialist who combines strong technical skills with a solid understanding of financial processes.

This is a hands‑on role focused on developing advanced Power BI solutions for finance and controlling teams. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, define reporting requirements and translate financial processes into clear, decision‑relevant dashboards and KPI reporting.

• Developing end-to-end Power BI reports and dashboards
• Creating advanced DAX measures and reporting logic
• Building and maintaining data models and semantic layers
• Gathering and challenging requirements from finance and controlling stakeholders
• Designing financial KPIs and management reporting solutions
• Supporting reporting in areas such as budgeting, forecasting, P&L, costs, revenue, cash flow and actual-versus-budget analysis
• Working with SAP-related financial data
• Cooperating with backend and data engineering teams
• Senior hands‑on experience with Power BI
• Strong DAX, Power Query and data modelling skills
• Experience with Power BI Service and report performance optimization
• Practical understanding of financial and controlling processes
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements engineering skills
• Experience working with SAP data; SAP FI/CO, BW, BPC or S/4HANA would be an advantage
• Professional English
