Job summary

A leading foreign IT consultancy in Warsaw is looking for a Power BI Specialist/Business Analyst to create and maintain advanced reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Business Intelligence, especially with Power BI, and excellent SQL skills. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure high-quality data is delivered. The position offers a full-time, hybrid contract with opportunities for career development in an international environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL for data analysis and validation
• Experience working with business stakeholders
• Understanding of data warehouse and ETL concepts
• Experience in SCRUM or other Agile frameworks
• Proactive and analytical mindset with ability to explore issues
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of banking and/or financial services industry
• Very good command of English (at least B2+)

Responsibilities

Job Description

As a Power BI Specialist/Business Analyst, your mission will be to design, develop and maintain advanced reporting and visualization solutions while supporting business stakeholders in defining and validating reporting requirements.

We need somebody like you to help us in different fronts:

• You will design, develop and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using Power BI
• You will build and optimize data models (relationships, star schema, performance tuning)
• You will develop complex DAX calculations and business metrics
• You will ensure high standards of data quality, performance and usability of reporting solutions
• You will gather and clarify reporting requirements with business stakeholders
• You will define and document KPI logic and reporting rules
• You will act as a bridge between Business, IT and Data teams, ensuring alignment of expectations
• You will use SQL to analyze data and validate data quality of implemented solutions
• You will support UAT processes and ensure delivered solutions meet agreed requirements
• You will document your solutions in Santander’s tools: JIRA, Confluence, ALM
• You will work in Scrum methodology and be part of a high-performance team
• You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices in BI and visualization

• Exposure to Big Data / cloud environments
• Microsoft Power BI certifications (e.g., PL-300)
• Knowledge of Power Apps or PythonWa
• Spanish will be a plus
