Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Katowice / Gdańsk is seeking a BI Analyst to lead end-to-end Power BI solution development, including data modelling, report design, performance optimization, and governance. You will translate business requirements into insights using ETL, Power BI, and SQL-based sources, focusing on scalable BI across global partners.

You will report to the LCS Business Intelligence Team Leader in a hybrid setup with office in Katowice or Gdańsk, and collaborate across a data-first

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in Power BI enterprise environments.
Expertise in ETL, Power BI, data analytics, and SQL-based data sources.

Responsibilities

Gather and translate business requirements into scalable and impactful BI solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models for enterprise use.
Apply best practices in dimensional modeling (star schema) & semantic model design.
Build and optimize data models using Power Query, DAX, and relational data principles.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation across all reports and datasets.
Optimize dataset performance (model size, refresh efficiency, query performance).
Align reporting outputs with standardized KPI definitions and business frameworks.
Develop and maintain reusable datasets and governed data models.
Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with data owners.
