Job summary

Euroclear is seeking a Business Intelligence Support Engineer in Kraków to support Power BI and Cognos reporting services for business users and technical teams. You will analyze incidents, troubleshoot data issues, and collaborate with data engineers and developers to deliver reliable reporting solutions.

The role combines technical problem-solving with customer-focused service in an international Financial Market Infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or developing reports in Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to investigate data and reporting issues.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with ticketing and incident management processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first-line support for Power BI and Cognos reporting services.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to reports and data refreshes.
• Escalate complex issues to development or platform teams when needed.
• Communicate with business stakeholders throughout incident lifecycle.
• Build and maintain a knowledge base of recurring issues and resolutions.
• Identify common reporting problems and propose preventive solutions.
• Contribute to process improvements for support efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Support documentation updates and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams on governance and modernization.
