Job summary

The University of Wroclaw invites applications for the position of assistant professor (post-doc) in the Biologically Active Metallopeptides Research Group at the Faculty of Chemistry. The project focuses on metal-peptide complexes with antimicrobial activity and requires PhD in chemical sciences obtained since 2019, with strong publication record and NMR expertise.

Qualifications

PhD in chemical sciences obtained since 2019.
Experience in interdisciplinary research with emphasis on coordination chemistry.
Publication record in indexed journals with significant authorship.
English skills at least B2 for independent study and reporting.
Experience supervising students or doctoral candidates.
Active participation in national and international conferences.

Responsibilities

Carry out research within the SNSF MAPS project team.
Determine NMR solution structures of metal–peptide complexes with antimicrobial activity.
Prepare reports, manuscripts and participate in scientific meetings.
Supervise undergraduate and PhD students involved in the project.
Maintain research equipment and contribute to outreach activities.
