Job summary

The Medical University of Lodz invites applications for the post of Assistant Professor in the Research and Teaching Group. The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine announces a competition for a position aimed at high scientific activity and teaching excellence.

Applicants should provide an academic CV with publications, CV including mobility records, degrees scans, language certificate showing knowledge of English at least B2, and declarations related to ethics and training.

Qualifications

• English knowledge at least B2 is required.

HEREBY ANNOUNCES A COMPETITION FOR THE POST OF

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN THE RESEARCH AND TEACHING GROUP

• high scientific activity, confirmed, inter alia, by publication as first author of original papers in prestigious scientific journals, particularly in the last year;
• the ability to impart knowledge and encourage the deepening of knowledge, confirmed by very good results in the assessment of students and doctoral students with regard to the fulfilment by the teacher's educational responsibilities;
• knowledge of English at a minimum b2 .

Specific Requirements

• personal questionnaire for the applicant ;
• academic curriculum vitae, including list of publications
• professional curriculum vitae in the case of teaching posts
• career achievements: applicant's mobility, grants, research, innovative activities, openness to entrepreneurship and the practical aspect of research
• scanned copies of degrees
• a scan of a certificate or a certificate issued by the Centre for Foreign Language Teaching at the Medical University of Łódź, confirming knowledge of a foreign language, indicating the level of proficiency and the period of its validity;
• declaration of no criminal record, employment status at the University and declaration of the need to complete training in teaching methodology

• publishes research papers and conducts scientific research;
• submits the declarations necessary for the research quality evaluation process: a declaration regarding the field and discipline; a declaration authorizing the entity to include the employee in the count of staff conducting research in a given discipline (the so-called \"N-count\"); and a declaration authorizing the entity to report the employee's research achievements within the declared disciplines;
• fulfills all obligations arising from the ongoing evaluation and parameterization processes.
