Job summary

The University of Warsaw in Warsaw, Poland invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Experimental Polariton Photonics and Neuromorphic Computing. The position focuses on exciton-polariton–based neuromorphic computing with experimental optics and semiconductor photonics.

The successful candidate will join the Light-Matter Interaction Group at CTP PAS and work in close collaboration with Prof. Barbara Piętka’s group at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw.

Qualifications

• PhD and hands-on experience in experimental optics, photonics, semiconductor spectroscopy, or related areas.
• Prior experience with polaritons or neuromorphic photonics is welcome, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead optical and spectroscopic experiments on exciton-polariton systems.
• Contribute to demonstrations of neuromorphic and neural-network functionalities.
