The University of Warsaw in Warsaw, Poland invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Experimental Polariton Photonics and Neuromorphic Computing. The position focuses on exciton-polariton–based neuromorphic computing with experimental optics and semiconductor photonics.
The successful candidate will join the Light-Matter Interaction Group at CTP PAS and work in close collaboration with Prof. Barbara Piętka’s group at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw.
We are hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher in Experimental Polariton Photonics and Neuromorphic Computing in Warsaw.
The position is part of our work on exciton-polariton-based neuromorphic computing , combining experimental optics, semiconductor photonics, nonlinear polariton physics, and optical neural-network concepts.
The successful candidate will join the Light-Matter Interaction Group at CTP PAS led by prof. Michał Matuszewski and work in close experimental collaboration with Prof. Barbara Piętka’s group at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw . The research will focus on optical and spectroscopic experiments, nonlinear polariton phenomena, and experimental demonstrations of neuromorphic and neural-network functionalities.
We are particularly interested in candidates with a PhD and hands-on experience in experimental optics, photonics, semiconductor spectroscopy, or related areas . Prior experience with polaritons or neuromorphic photonics is welcome, but not required.
