The offer is aimed at a candidate who meets the
following requirements:
- holds a PhD in Ukrainian linguistics,
- is fluent in English,
- has experience in conducting teaching classes in
Ukrainian and English,
- an additional asset will be experience in
popularization activities related to Ukrainian culture,

Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) is welcome.

Skills/Qualifications
The competition is open to individuals who meet the
requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on
Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018
(Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, Article 113 as
amended) and who meet the following requirements:
1. PhD in humanities in the field of Ukrainian
linguistics,
2. fluent command of the English language confirmed
by a certificate or diploma,
3. publications in the field of linguistics,
4. documented experience in teaching Ukrainian and
English as a foreign language.
Specific Requirements
The candidate should be prepared and possess
experience in conducting teaching classes in practical
English and Ukrainian language learning, as well as
in subjects within the field of linguistic specialization.
The candidate should have documented experience
in presenting research results at conferences
(national and/or international).

Eligibility criteria
1. documented experience in conducting teaching
activities at the academic level
in English and Ukrainian – 5 pt.,
2. excellent social skills and the ability to cooperate
with others – 3 pt.,
3. list of publications (scientific or popular science
articles published and/or under review) – 5 pt.
Selection process
1. Competition committee begins working no later
than 14 days after the deadline for submission of
documents.
2. Formal evaluation of submitted proposals.
3. Call to provide additional or missing documents if
necessary.
4. Selection of candidates for the interview stage.
5. Interviews for candidates who meet the formal
requirements.
6. The committee has the right to request external
reviews of candidates' work or to ask candidates
to conduct teaching assignments with an
opportunity for student evaluation.
7. The chair of the competition committee
announces the results and informs the candidates.

The selected candidate will have the opportunity to
develop their academic career by conducting
research and publishing its results in collaboration
with other researchers working in the given field.
He/she will also have the opportunity to apply for and
participate in research projects, which will enable
his/her further scientific development in the field of
linguistics. He/she will have a significant impact on
the research and teaching development of the unit in
which he/she will be employed.
