Job summary

Goldman Sachs Group in Warsaw seeks a Portfolio Reconciliation & Valuations professional to ensure reconciliation of positions and provide valuation reporting to clients and 3rd party vendors across OTC derivatives.

You will liaise with Controllers, Credit and Middle Office teams, deliver timely reports, and develop more efficient price consolidation methods while supporting Dodd-Frank related and margin rules considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of experience in financial services
• Analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality with meticulous attention to detail
• Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to internal clients
• Self-motivated and proactive team player with ownership and accountability
• Flexible and able to work well under pressure in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to track and resolve position discrepancies
• Consolidate requests to communicate pricing and position issues with Controllers, Credit and Middle Office teams
• Deliver position reports to clients and 3rd party vendors on a timely fashion
• Develop more efficient methods of price consolidation and delivery
• Participate in development and implementation of Portfolio Reconciliation mandate
• Plan and execute projects under Manager's direction
• Review and resolve collateral disputes using firm tools while liaising with clients, trading, Controllers, Credit, etc
• Leverage analytical skills to identify complex dispute drivers across OTC derivative products and liaise with trading desks and Controllers to resolve
• Identify control weaknesses with respect to process flow methodology and understand cash flows and trades valued under LIBOR and CSA methodologies
• Grow with the team; develop a deeper understanding of complex derivative transactions and progress to collateral dispute investigation and resolution
