Job summary

Mercor seeks a bilingual Polish STEM Expert (PhD) to support AI safety initiatives in a remote contract role. Compensation is $50–$54/hour for 20+ hours per week.

You will write expert-level prompts in Polish, evaluate model responses for accuracy and safety, and apply structured guidelines to classify content. The ideal candidate holds a PhD, is fluent in Polish with business-level English, and has strong laboratory and computational knowledge.

• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
• Collaborate with AI teams to ensure models handle specialized technical topics in Polish safely.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model safety.

Qualifications Must-Have

• PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.
• Native or near-native fluency in Polish and business-level written English.
• Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.
• Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.

Preferred Qualifications
