Mercor is seeking a Bilingual Polish STEM Expert (PhD) to join our AI safety efforts. This remote contract role requires expert-level Polish prompts, thorough evaluation of model outputs, and collaboration with AI teams to ensure safe handling of advanced scientific topics.

You will work independently and asynchronously, contributing to structured guidelines and high-quality content reviews while maintaining strict safety standards. 20+ hours/week.

Qualifications

• PhD in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.
• Native or near-native fluency in Polish and business-level written English.
• Deep familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.
• Sound judgment around scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.

Position: Bilingual Polish STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety

Type: Contract

Compensation: $50–$54/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20+ hours/week
