Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Manager, Chief Engineer to lead the Critical Facilities Operations Team and ensure safe, reliable operation of data center infrastructure. You will drive maintenance strategy, incident management, contractor oversight, and continuous improvement while serving as a technical escalation point.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, cooling, life safety, and monitoring systems, plus leadership of maintenance teams in mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, facilities engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience operating and maintaining mission critical infrastructure in data centers or similar.
• Experience leading maintenance or facilities teams in critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Critical Facilities Operations Team for mission critical infrastructure.
• Ensure safe, reliable operation of electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection and monitoring systems.
• Drive operational excellence, safety and continuous improvement.
• Plan, execute and complete preventive and corrective maintenance per standards.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring and training.
• Direct and maintain preventive, predictive and maintenance programs.
• Lead root cause investigations and author RCA/AAR reports.
