Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Manager, Chief Engineer to lead the Critical Facilities Operations Team in a high-availability data center environment. You will own maintenance strategy, operational readiness, and long-term reliability of electrical, mechanical, cooling, life safety, and monitoring systems.

You will guide technicians, coordinate with contractors, and drive incident response while advancing safety and efficiency across mission critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Extensive experience operating and maintaining mission critical infrastructure in data centers, industrial facilities, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, chilled water, fire protection, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Proven experience coaching, developing, and leading maintenance or critical facilities teams.
• Fluency in Polish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Critical Facilities Operations Team responsible for operating, maintaining, and supporting mission critical infrastructure and daily facility operations.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical, mechanical, cooling, fire protection, and monitoring systems.
• Drive a culture of operational excellence, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities per standards and procedures.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management.
