Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Polarion ALM Technical Consultant to join our global team. You will administer, configure, and evolve Polarion ALM platforms in enterprise environments, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement across the application lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on Polarion ALM experience, plus strong Linux/Windows server administration, database management, and integrations with Jira, Azure DevOps, or SAP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Siemens Polarion ALM, including administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux/Windows server administration and database management (PostgreSQL/SQL Server or similar).
• Strong customer-facing communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in enterprise ALM/PLM environments with integrations to Jira/Azure DevOps/SAP is a plus and scripting/automation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Administering, configuring, and maintaining Siemens Polarion ALM environments across development, testing, and production systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex application, server, and infrastructure-level issues to ensure platform availability, stability, and security.
• Managing the underlying Polarion infrastructure, including application servers, databases, and system integrations, with monitoring and corrective actions.
• Collaborating with customer stakeholders to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and support integrations with third-party tools.
• Producing clear technical documentation and providing knowledge transfer and ongoing operational support to customer teams.
