Poland HR Country Lead: Strategy & Operations

Job summary

Notino is seeking an experienced HR Country Manager to own HR across Poland and partner with our leadership team from the Czech Republic HQ. This role combines strategic partnership with hands-on HR operations, employment law and employee relations to implement our global People agenda locally.

You will lead the local HR team, adapt global policies to Polish requirements, and work closely with senior leaders to shape organisational changes, recruitment and cost planning.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of Polish labour law, employee relations and HR compliance.
• Experienced in moving between business partnering, people leadership and HR operations.
• Proven ability to advise and influence senior leaders.
• Experience leading and developing an HR team.
• Experience working in international or matrix organisations with global/local HR policies.
• Logistics, retail or e-commerce exposure is a plus.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end HR processes and delivery across multiple areas.
• Experience with organizational change and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the quality, compliance and effectiveness of HR delivery across Poland.
• Partner with local leadership and act as trusted HR advisor to senior leaders and managers.
• Lead the local HR team, set direction and priorities, and ensure HR activities work together as one service.
• Localise global HR policies and programs to be compliant with Polish law and business needs.
• Monitor Polish labour law and HR risks, translating them into practical recommendations.
• Develop and implement local recruitment strategy and manage relationships with agencies.
• Oversee job descriptions and key HR documentation with local leadership.
• Plan and monitor HR costs aligned with business priorities.
