Job summary

Klarna is building its Fair Financing product live in Poland. As a Senior Analyst on the credit decisioning team, you’ll shape underwriting policies for Poland using bureau data and market-specific models.

You’ll work with Product, Risk, and the Poland regional team to bring policy onto Klarna's Global Underwriting Platform, ensuring alignment with App and One Card. This role requires strong SQL/Python skills and Polish proficiency.

Qualifications

• Worked in consumer credit risk, underwriting, or credit policy and understands policy impact on approvals and portfolio health.
• Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with large, messy datasets.
• Knowledge of credit bureau data, repayment behavior, and risk modeling.
• Able to trace policy logic to root causes and resolve ambiguities.
• Experience building underwriting or payment logic for markets with local payment methods.
• Ability to translate data findings into actionable policy changes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Polish consumer credit risk using SQL, Python, and bureau data to guide policy settings.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, and the Poland team to deploy policy on Klarna's Global Underwriting Platform.
• Align Poland's credit policy with Klarna’s App and One Card product logic.
• Monitor bureau data performance and flag data quality or sourcing issues.
• Turn analysis into policy changes that underwriting, product, and regional teams implement.
