Job summary

A software development company in Wrocław is seeking an Automation Engineer to maintain and develop safety-critical applications. Ideal candidates have experience with PLC programming, strong English skills, and a degree in Automation. The role offers international projects, flexible hours, and the possibility of remote work.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following: PLC programming (CODESYS) or CAN bus.
• Ability to program PLC controllers; ST language knowledge is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of English is required.
• Driving license cat. B and readiness for business trips.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and development of Functional Safe and non-safe application software for mobile machines.
• Creating norm conformant software documentation.
• Developing test programs and external configuration tools.

Responsibilities

• maintenance and development of Functional Safe and non safe application software for mobile machines related to I/O handling, logics and the implementation of control loops
• creating norm conformant software documentation (esp. for the Safe parts)
• developing test programs
• developing external configuration, diagnoisis and service tools e.g. using Phyton

Requirements

• knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas: PLC programming (CODESYS) or CAN bus
• ability to program PLC controllers (knowledge of the ST language and the CODESYS environment will be an additional advantage)
• higher education in Automation or similar field of study
• very good knowledge of English (our company language)
• readiness for business trips
• driving license cat. B
• good communication skills

Nice to have

• knowledge of the software development methodology according to the V-model
