Job summary

Valeo North America Inc. seeks a highly motivated Leader to drive the product expertise team in the advanced development platform. This role ensures technical excellence, robustness and market competitiveness of new product development.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, collaborate with project architects and domain experts, and actively contribute to problem-solving and continuous product improvement. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Proficiency in English and Polish (both written and spoken).
• Minimum 5 years in an interdisciplinary engineering environment (design, testing, expertise, or repair).
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads the technical analysis of electrical drive systems (eAxle, eMotor) and sub-systems through diagnosis, teardown, and detailed expertise.
• Defines and manages activities to support technical conclusions, including measurements, tests, examinations, and trials.
• Leads a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians; plans, quotes, and executes activities in line with priorities and resources.
• Cooperates with project teams, product architects, standards owners, and domain experts.
• Participates in problem-solving, competitive analysis, and continuous product improvement processes.
• Develops expertise methods, tools, and equipment to enhance analysis efficiency and accuracy.
