Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Manager - Neo to lead and scale the enterprise AI platform for the Group IT. You will guide the Neo engineering team, drive scalable solutions, and partner with product, cloud, data, and change stakeholders to deliver high-quality AI capabilities.

The role requires hands-on cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and a strong Python background, with a focus on reliability and performance across Capgemini’s global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience leading platform/ cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or AI platform teams in large enterprises.
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, MLOps, and model deployment.

Job description

As Platform Engineering Manager - Neo within the Global Delivery Center, you will play a central role in building and scaling Capgemini's Group-wide Al platform. Neo is a strategic initiative, and this role is key to ensuring that its Al platform capabilities are delivered with quality, reliability, and scalability at enterprise scale.

You will lead engineering teams responsible for developing and operating Al platform components, working closely with product, cloud, data, and change stakeholders. In this role you will play a key role in:

• Lead, coach, and develop the Neo engineering team, fostering technical excellence and a culture of continuous improvement
• Oversee the design, development, and evolution of Neo's Al platform components, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, and performance in close collaboration with cloud engineering teams
• Establish and promote best practices for MLOps, model deployment, platform operations, and engineering delivery
• Partner closely with product, data, cloud, and change teams to align technical initiatives with business priorities and emerging Al use cases
• Ensure strong engineering governance, quality standards, and adherence to architectural principles
• Support roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple platform workstreams
• Foster collaboration and innovation across engineering teams to accelerate Neo's growth and adoption

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience leading platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Al platform teams in complex enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of Al/ML concepts, MLOps practices, and model operationalization
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong technical background in Python or similar programming languages, with experience building and scaling platform services

A strong plus if you bring experience with MLOps tooling, distributed Al systems, open-source contributions, Kaggle participation, or GCP certifications.
