Job summary

Transition Technologies PSC seeks a hands-on DevOps / Platform Engineering Tech Lead to own and drive the developer platform. You will define engineering standards, build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, and migrate the organization to GitHub while ensuring scalable, secure, and autonomous team workflows.

You will design Terraform modules, manage multi-environment setups, and establish an AI model access layer with observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub at organizational/enterprise scale and related security controls.
• Hands-on Terraform experience with reusable modules and multi-environment management.
• Experience with AI model APIs/tools (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Lambda, Vertex AI).
• Understanding AI cost models, pricing, tokens, and latency trade-offs.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Ability to communicate tech decisions and costs to engineering, finance and product teams.
• Ownership mindset: drive initiatives end-to-end and ensure adoption across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own an internal developer platform with self-service capabilities, golden paths, and templates.
• Own migration to GitHub across the organization including governance and security.
• Design and maintain CI/CD with GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, and self-hosted runners.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for multi-environment setups.
• Build and operate the AI model access layer, including gateways, routing and observability.
• Model AI cost reporting, showback/chargeback, budgets, and alerts for the business.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to promote best practices and reusable patterns.
• Mentor engineers and partner with architects and product teams on technical decisions.
• Take ownership of end-to-end initiatives and drive adoption across the organization.
• Communicate effectively on technology choices and costs to stakeholders.
