Job summary

Aptiv is seeking a Platform Engineer to build, maintain, and improve our platform services and infrastructure. You will work hands-on with DevOps, QA, and product teams, taking increasing ownership of components and collaborating across the organization.

You will work with cloud platforms, IaC, CI/CD, automation, and security. The role emphasizes learning and progressing toward technical ownership in a hybrid work environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation).
• CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash).
• Exposure to Agile/DevOps ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain platform infrastructure and services across cloud environments.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management.
• Implement solutions following engineering standards and best practices.
• Support adoption of team-selected tools and frameworks.
• Deliver engineering work items with reliable progress.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on design reviews and solutions.
• Communicate progress and blockers early.
• Participate in stand-ups and Agile ceremonies.
