Center for Theoretical Physics, PAS
The Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CTP PAS) in Warsaw invites applications for up to two PhD positions in the newly established Neutral Atoms Applications theory group at the Center for Quantum-Enabled Computing (C4QEC), led by Dr. Piotr T. Grochowski.
Our research focuses on developing theoretical and numerical methods for modelling and controlling programmable quantum systems, particularly neutral atoms in optical tweezers and Rydberg arrays.
Research topics include:
Projects can be tailored to the interests and backgrounds of successful candidates, with opportunities for collaboration with experimental groups.
We offer:
Requirements: A Master's degree (or equivalent) in physics, mathematics, or a related field, a strong background in quantum physics, and good scientific programming skills. Experience in quantum optics, atomic physics, quantum information, or numerical modelling is an advantage.
