Job summary

The Insurance Brokers Association of BC is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative in our Personal Lines team. The role focuses on delivering outstanding service and supporting brokers with policy-related tasks.

Candidates should hold a Level 2 General Insurance Licence and have at least two years of Autoplan and Personal Lines experience. English proficiency is required, with Mandarin/Cantonese considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Level 2 General Insurance Licence
• Minimum two years of experience in Autoplan and Personal Lines
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in English; Mandarin/Cantonese an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Applied Rating Service, ICBC and other Insurers' portals
• Good technical insurance knowledge of coverages
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Team player with strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• provide outstanding service and recommend products to clients
• respond and process new business and endorsements
• manage renewals by reviewing and remarket as needed
• review and ensure accuracy of policy documentation from Insurers
• maintain accurate records and digital documents for all transactions
• coverage for ICBC transactions and related duties
• collabarate effectively with team members and support for producers
• prioritize duties effectively and proactively
• perform other related duties and responsibilities as a CSR
• provide support to Commercial Lines if opportunity arises
