As a People Matters Senior Specialist, you will be part of Aon Business Services and work under the operational direction of the People Matters Manager. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as an initial point of contact for defined policy, performance‑management, absence, wellbeing and ER operational‑support queries.

  • Delivering defined service activities such as basic policy consultation, performance‑management process support, absence and wellbeing administration, and standard ER operational tasks.
  • Escalating complex, sensitive or regulated matters (e.g. misconduct, discrimination, policy exceptions, high‑risk performance) to People Matters COE, Legal or other specialist teams with clear case summaries and documentation.
  • Handling colleague and health‑related information in line with privacy, confidentiality and data‑handling standards, and contributing to quality reviews, calibration, training and continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to knowledge management and continuous improvement by flagging recurring questions, unclear guidance and service‑boundary issues.
  • Be part of an inclusive, supportive team within Aon Business Services, with opportunities to learn, grow and deepen your expertise in Employee Relations and People Operations.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Experience in Employee Relations, People Operations, Human Resources, case management, shared services or a related field, with comfort working in a high‑volume, process‑driven environment.
